The city HRA hosted a Visioning Session on October 2nd.  We invited local business owners, land owners, council members, planning commission members, developer’s and realtors.  There was a small panel discussion that provided insights from a local contractor, Welsh Co. Mall manager, and the director of the Wright County Economic Development Partnership.  The group broke out into small groups and each had one category from the SWOT analysis.  At the end the group voted for the top three – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats for Rockford.  The next vision session will be held on October 30th.
