Compost Site Opened Wednesday, April 24nd

Compost Site Opened Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

The weather forecast this weekend is showing warm temperatures and (finally) spring-like conditions. Unfortunately, it does not make up for the snowpocalypse and rains that have soaked Rockford and our compost site over the past few weeks. Soil conditions at the compost site are soggy and muddy, so it will remain closed this weekend so it can dry out. We plan on being able to open the compost site next week and will provide updates if it is not ready for public use and access on Monday. Thank you.
