Join the Rockford Junior Ambassadors as they lead the children in the Annual Memorial Day Parade  SEE FLYER – Memorial Day flyer 2013 Jr Ambassador

Parade Route:

Ash Street to Walnut Street to Main Street to Bridge Street to Mechanic Street to Cedar Street to Maple Street to Elmwood Cemetery

*Parade members stop at the Crow River Bridge for Navy Memorial Program and then continues to Elmwood Cemetery

*Parade members end at Elmwood Cemetery for Memorial Service (approx. 10:20am) **No bicycle allowed in cemetery, in respect for our Honored Dead**

All are invited to a pork chop dinner in Riverside Park (8220 Elm Street) and the Stork House (8131 Bridge Street) for pie and ice cream social (10am-3pm)

Some events maybe cancelled due to the weather.

The only burning allowed is a 3×3 recreational fire and the fire must be surrounded by rock, stone or some type of noncoumbustible material.  NO burning of yard waste/garbage.  An extinguisher or garden hose should be in close proximity.

No fire can be closer than 50′ from any structure.
