SPECIAL USE PERMITS

The city also asks residents and business owners who are having
special events to apply for a special use permit.



These permits are needed for auctions, block parties, and outdoor events in parking lots which are sometimes held at local bars and restaurants. The city has a noise ordinance which states all construction type noise should be discontinued at 10 p.m. therefore, all special uses permits for outdoor activities are limited to 10 p.m.
