City Council Affidavit of Candidacy, 2022 Municipal Election

Affidavits of Candidacy are now being accepted for the 2022 Municipal Election, to be held in the City of Rockford on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, for the offices of:

One (1) Council Member *Special Election* Two (2) Year Term

Two (2) Council Members Four (4) Year Term

Affidavits of Candidacy materials may be filed in the office of the City Clerk beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022 and ending at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 5 pm. Filings will be received at City Hall, 6031 Main Street, Rockford MN 55373 during office hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except for Tuesday, August 16, 2020 where filings will be accepted until 5 pm.

To be qualified to serve on the City Council, you must be a U.S. Citizens, being 21 years of age or older, be eligible to vote and have been residents of the City of Rockford for the past thirty days. Minn. Stat. §204B.06, Subd. 1.
