[Learn More]We are getting close to the end of the first week of the closure of Maple Street and the impact it has had on the Autumn Oaks Drive intersection. We have increased the presence of law enforcement, a reader board sign will be installed west of Autumn Oaks Drive to help slow traffic heading towards the intersection, and have people helping to direct traffic to turn right during the morning commute. Here are some notes to help traffic flow more smoothly based upon observations over the past few days:
At this time, the Maple Street Project is still on schedule. We are hopeful that Maple Street will be open again on Monday, September 19th. Maple Street will be under construction, but it will be passable once opened. This will relieve some of the pressure on the Autumn Oaks Drive intersection. We will provide updates on that as we move forward.
