Memorial Day Parade Monday May 29th, 2023
[Learn More]The 2022 Improvement Project will begin transitioning into Phase 2 (shown in figure below) early next week. Work in Phase 2 of the Project will include replacing watermain, repairing sanitary sewer and reconstructing Maple Street from Linden St to Nathan Blvd.
While the contractor is working adjacent to the CP Rail Bridge on replacement of the watermain, Maple St will be closed for approximately two weeks to complete this portion of the roadway. This closure is currently scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 6th, 2022. During this time, access to this area will need to be obtained from Autumn Oaks Drive.
Beyond this closure, the contractor will be working on this stretch of roadway throughout the fall. During this construction, roadway access may be limited to one lane at times during the day. During these times, we ask that residents drive safely or consider access to the neighborhood from Autumn Oaks Drive, if possible, to reduce traffic through the construction zones.
If you have any questions regarding this disruption, please contact the City’s Project Engineer, Adam Noreen at 612-214-5016. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience through this 2022 Infrastructure Improvement Project.
