Public Works Utility Worker

The City of Rockford is looking for a Utility Maintenance employee to join our team. This position will assist with operations of the Water and Wastewater Utilities and provide support to the Public Works Department. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent degree, strong work ethic and an interest in municipal utilities operations. A Minnesota Class B Driver’s License with air brake endorsement is required within six months of employment; and a Minnesota Class D Water Supply Operator Certificate and Minnesota Class D Wastewater Collection System Operator Certificate will be required within eighteen months of hire. The compensation range for this position is $24 to $26.50 per hour, depending on qualifications, along with excellent benefits.
