One Seat for a Council Member *Special Election* Two-Year Term
Two Seats for a Council Member Four-Year Term
Affidavits of Candidacy materials must be notarized and filed in the office of the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in City Hall, 6031 Main Street, Rockford MN 55373. Please note, all filings must be notarized. There is not a Notary Public in the City Hall office today.
To be qualified to serve on the City Council, you must be a U.S. Citizens, being 21 years of age or older, be eligible to vote and have been residents of the City of Rockford for the past thirty days. Minn. Stat. §204B.06, Subd. 1.
